Some seniors reach a point where they should not be alone for long periods — after a fall, during advanced memory loss, while recovering from surgery, or when health becomes less predictable. For many families, round-the-clock care at home is preferable to moving a loved one into a facility.
Noble Senior Care offers both 24-hour care and live-in care by arrangement. We will explain the options, help you choose what fits your loved one’s needs and your budget, and coordinate caregivers so care stays consistent.
Available across Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Mountain Brook, Homewood, Trussville, Pelham, Helena, Chelsea and Alabaster. See all areas.

24-hour care vs. live-in care
24-hour care usually means caregivers work in shifts so someone is always awake and available — a good choice when help is often needed during the night. Live-in care usually means a caregiver stays in the home with time for sleep and breaks — often suitable when nighttime needs are lighter. We will talk through which option makes sense for your loved one during your free consultation.
How we provide 24-hour and live-in care
I was nervous about having someone come into Mom’s home at first. You hear all sorts of things and you just want to make sure your parent is in good hands. It’s been a relief having some help, honestly.

Questions about 24-hour care
Can’t find what you’re looking for? Our office team is happy to help.
Is 24-hour care available right away?
24-hour and live-in care are available by arrangement. Call us to discuss your situation and we will explain timing and next steps.
Does a live-in caregiver need their own room?
Generally, yes. A live-in caregiver needs a private place to sleep and rest. We will discuss the practical details with you during the consultation.
Is 24-hour home care an alternative to a nursing home?
For many seniors who need supervision and help with daily living but not skilled nursing, round-the-clock in-home care can be an alternative. Your loved one’s doctor can help you understand their medical needs.
How is 24-hour care paid for?
We accept private pay by card, check or cash, and we also work with certain insurance plans. Contact us and we will gladly help you check whether your coverage applies.
