Loneliness can affect an older adult’s mood, appetite, sleep and overall wellbeing. When friends move away, driving stops, or a spouse passes, days at home can become very quiet.
Our companion caregivers bring connection back into the day. They share conversation and hobbies, go for walks, help with errands and appointments, and keep an eye on how your loved one is doing — so you have peace of mind even when you can’t be there.

Who companion care is for
Companion care suits seniors who are generally independent but would benefit from regular company and a helping hand: those who live alone, have recently lost a spouse, no longer drive, or whose family lives out of town or works long hours. It is also a gentle way to introduce in-home care before more hands-on support is needed.
How we provide companion care
The flexibility has helped us a lot. Between work and everything else going on, trying to manage everything ourselves was getting difficult. We needed a bit of help and that’s what we were looking for.

Questions about companion care
Can’t find what you’re looking for? Our office team is happy to help.
What is the difference between companion care and personal care?
Companion care focuses on social support, supervision, errands and household help. Personal care adds hands-on help with bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility. Many clients start with companion care and add personal care later if needs change.
Can a companion caregiver drive my loved one to appointments?
Escorts to appointments, errands and outings can be arranged as part of companion care. We will talk through transportation details with you during your consultation.
How often should companion visits be?
There is no single answer. Some families start with a few visits a week; others prefer daily company. We will help you find a schedule that fits your loved one and your budget.
Do you offer companion care on weekends and evenings?
Yes. Caregiver visits are scheduled around client needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays by arrangement.
