Missed or doubled doses can lead to serious health problems for older adults. With several prescriptions, changing schedules and occasional forgetfulness, keeping track can be a daily worry for seniors and their families.
Our caregivers provide friendly, consistent medication reminders and keep a caring eye on your loved one’s day-to-day wellbeing. We notice when something seems different — a change in appetite, energy, mood or mobility — and let the family know promptly so it can be followed up with the right healthcare professional.
Available across Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Mountain Brook, Homewood, Trussville, Pelham, Helena, Chelsea and Alabaster. See all areas.

Who this service is for
This service is ideal for seniors who manage their own medications but sometimes forget, those with several prescriptions on different schedules, adults recently home from the hospital, and families who want someone to keep a regular, caring eye on how a loved one is doing.
How we provide medication reminders
My sister and I went back and forth on this for a while. We both felt like we should be doing more ourselves. But you can’t do everything, and that’s something we’ve had to accept. Having extra support has made things easier for all of us.

Questions about medication reminders
Can’t find what you’re looking for? Our office team is happy to help.
Do your caregivers give medications?
No. As a non-medical home care provider, our caregivers provide reminders and support with routines. They do not administer medications, give injections or make medical decisions. Medication instructions should always come from your loved one’s doctor or pharmacist.
What does health monitoring include?
It means attentive, everyday observation: noticing changes in appetite, sleep, energy, mood, mobility or behavior and reporting them to the family. It is not medical monitoring or diagnosis.
Can you help organize pills into a weekly pill box?
Ask us during your consultation. In many cases the family, a pharmacist or a nurse sets up pill organizers, and our caregivers remind your loved one to take them as directed.
What happens in an emergency?
Caregivers are instructed to call 911 in an emergency and then contact the family and our office right away.
